Wynwood Art Lab and the Barcelona Art Academy inaugurate the figurative exhibition "Helado de Vanilla" at Axel Hotel Barcelona.

Wynwood Art Lab and the Barcelona Art Academy have just inaugurated an untold exhibition of works by senior students, sponsored by the BAA instructors, Sofía Zuluaga and Carl de Jager, with the support of Wynwood Point and Axel Hotel Barcelona, and the sponsorship of By Bossy Group.

The figurative exhibition "Vanilla ice cream" refers to a fresh proposal, with a novel format, which also speaks of the freshness of young BAA artists who present here a selection of figurative works, but at the same time with a style modern that adapts to the "heterofriendly" image of the Axel Hotel Barcelona tourist establishment.

In this exhibition, you can appreciate the creative expressions with varied techniques that include pencil, ink, charcoal, graphite and oil on paper, canvas and board of the representatives of the BAA: Ayuesh Agarwal, Blanche Ellis, Elijah Raventós, John Bissset, Lucinda Wait, Nejal Mehta, Nina Winther, Sofia Micheo, Stefano Mussato, Virginia Brito and instructors Sofia Zuluaga and Carl de Jager.

Wynwood Art Lab has already had a season presenting several artistic samples of varied style in the urban Axel Hotel Barcelona, of the first LGBTQ friendly Axel Hotels chain. In this space were the artists Pérez Soler, XRaich, Catherine Correia, Marilena Barquero, Pablo Rodríguez, and Fred Goudon.
