Past Exhibition. Pérez Soler at AMANTE LIFESTYLE CLUB

The Artist Pérez Soler remains in vogue in Madrid, after his exhibition at Skellig Brown at Cenicero Street and his show of "Torsos" at the Hotel Wellington. Now, the famous "Torsos", the series "Sueños de la Infancia" and the series "Impactos" are again exhibited to the exclusive members of Amante Lifestyle Club of Paseo Imperial, 9 in Madrid.

Apart from the original works inspired by the bullfighting aesthetic, made of cloth painted on polycarbonate or wood, are exposed an amazing conceptual collection of stainless steel with gold bath, pierced by bullets.

Carlos Perez Soler has long been linked to the world of international fashion as artistic director for the fashion show of the Fédération Française du Vêtement in Paris, a place that has welcomed the fashion shows of the best known fashion houses, such as Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Givenchy, Thierry Mugler and Balmain. He then became artistic director of the fashion department of some of the leading Spanish magazines and newspapers: Man, Woman, Hola, El Mundo, La Vanguardia, El Periódico and La Razón.

With decades dedicated to the world of fashion, Pérez Soler decides to give a return to his creative expressiveness and to enter the world of plastic art. Always faithful to its origins, Pérez Soler uses fashion as a primordial source of inspiration, the fabric being the material with which it is most identified. With them, he creates sculptures that are born from a profound process of investigation on the use and the combination of different materials, works in which the use of the cotton cloth on wood and polycarbonate stands out.
